Radio Mbao

Kijani, is an all-girl Pop and RnB trio from Nairobi comprising of twins Caroline Njuguna, Elizabeth Njuguna; and Christine Chege. The group is signed to Cypher Studios, Nairobi. The group entered the Kenyan music scene in October 2010 with an E.P titled 'Hard and Smooth', comprising of five songs and two videos namely, "Trendsetters" and "Pole'.

Kijani describe themselves as 'a group with a sound the world needs to hear'. They do not ascribe to a single lead singer and each girl's distinctive style and individuality is apparent in the music. The girls, who began singing around the piano in their music room in High School in 2008 decided to turn what used to be a hobby into a career. They are great friends and their chemistry effortlessly comes across in their music.
