| DMX Confirms Hospitalization, Food Poisoning Reports |
|
Confirming the hype was real, X said he is now in good condition. "I'm good, just some food poisoning. Thanks for the support. R'S UP!," he tweeted January 26th. (DMX's Twitter) Details of the rapper's bad food run-in emerged across the Internet Thursday.
DMX had the plane ride from Hell last night -- throwing up all the way from Miami to Charlotte, and then rushing straight to the hospital after landing. According to DMX, he had some "bad shrimp" at his baby mama's house in Miami before he got on a plane -- commercial -- and then spent most of the flight tossing his cookies in the lavatory. X tells us ... as soon as he touched down he went to Gastonia Memorial Hospital outside of Charlotte ... by limousine. Puking, but still balling!! X spent about four hours in the emergency room getting treated for food poisoning, and then headed home. No limo ride home though. A friend picked him up. (TMZ) While he continues to get better, X and his former Ruff Ryders crew are gearing up for an international tour later this year. "Everybody's on deck. It's just that we're making sure all of the schedules are intact," RR co-CEO Joaquin "Waah" Dean told MTV News. Dates are still being finalized, but Dean confirmed that he expects the tour to start between March and April. The plan is for the crew to begin their run overseas and then come over to the U.S. "We gonna take it nice and slow. We ain't gonna do like how we used to do, 30 or 40 cities; we not gonna go that far just yet," he said. "We gonna take it slow. Do a nice little five to 10 joints overseas and then some dates on this side just to build the momentum and have some fun with it." (Source:MTV)
